In Tokyo we went into a Cat Cafe where we saw tons of cats who were there for you to pet, hang out with and feed. In order to stay at the cafe you have to order one drink for each person.
One of them was named Boo, a black cat. All the cats were really nice except this one orange and white cat that stayed on the couch. He didn’t want to go to be fed, maybe because a boy was laying on him.
One of the workers came over carrying a black and white cat. He threw the cat right next to me, but the cat ran right back to the worker and climbed into his arms. The cat loved that guy!
One of the workers came over. She was carrying pieces of fish in a small box, and all the cats came over. We got a chance to feed the cats! The cats climbed on us, over us and through us to get to the food. You would take the bits of fish and hold your hand out flat and the cats were so careful to not bite our hand as they licked up the food.
Another cat got up to the desk where they took orders and another cat was under an iPad and sitting on the printer.
One time, a cat came up to another cat in his territory and they both went into a silent fight. They were clawing at each other and pretending to bite, but no one got hurt.
The best part of a Cat Cafe is seeing all the cats and playing with them. I love Cat Cafe’s and my sister Joy especially loves them. We say they are like “Pet Therapy” for her!
I love reading your stories. The cat cafe sounds like a lot of fun. I’ve heard there is also one in Berkeley.

We have also heard of one in Los Angeles!
