We have been on the go for multiple days and have so many stories to tell you!
But since we are sunburnt, exhilarated, muddy, and exhausted, we’ll just share a few pics. Make sure you read our upcoming posts to hear the awesome stories behind our newest Edventures!
Eric from Gold Beach taught us all about D-day by taking us by jeep to backroad historical sites along Gold Beach and Omaha Beach.
Then today was a mind blowing day at Mount St. Michel!
As we had expected, Amelie showed us all around the beautiful medieval town and church teaching us centuries of history. Then we found out what the next part of our tour would include, and for which, we were completely unprepared.
Roma, a local nature guide, took us on a tour of the salt marshes around Mt. Saint Michel that we will never forget! We rolled up our pants as best we could, removed our shoes so we wouldn’t lose them in quicksand (seriously) or mud, and set off hiking our way across the land as the tides receded.
It is hard to properly convey how exhilarated and muddy we were after this awesomely unique chance to learn about the land, water and animals of this area. We can’t wait to share all we learned with you!
Suffice it to say this was worldschooling gone wild! The coolest science classroom ever!
